About F+A
FASHION+ART is an online art gallery. Launched in early 2011, it was created as a way to share myself and my work with as many people as possible. I’ve been an artist all my life and I’ve loved fashion all my life. Combining the two with a degree in Fashion Illustration, I continued adding to my art portfolio while ensconced in the world of advertising and graphic design and after 30 years, there’s quite a collection. Photo-realistic pencil drawings, stylized watercolors, pastels, digital creations. I’ve got a lot of stuff.
Prints of these works will be available for purchase in the art gallery.
The blog is to promote the gallery of course. I AM in this to make money. But it also allows me to indulge in another love, the written word, and it helps feed the creative monster that never ever sleeps. More than two-fold, it’s like five-fold, hitting all the necessary cylinders and keeping me charged up and fully engaged. I’ll even get to design a little.
It may very well evolve as time goes on but for now, the blogs’ number one focus is to shamelessly promote the art gallery and drive traffic to the website, once hubby and I get her up and running. We’re working feverishly and believe me, when that day comes, when the FASHION+ART online gallery premieres, you, my friend and I hope, future customer, will be the very first to know. But in the meantime, welcome! Jump in and join us for the ride.

wonderful work.
Thank you.
We love your blog so we nominated you for a Liebster Award. Not really sure what it is, but it lets us celebrate the blogs we love!
The rules are on our blog if you want to continue it on. Happy blogging!

Hello- I love your blog and am in the process of redecorating my home. I love West Elm furniture and on your March 2011 blog, I saw an article that showcased a West Elm living room set up, however, I am unable to find the one piece I am looking for on West Elm’s website. Can you help me know the name of this piece–it is under the heading of something like “sizzle, pizzazz”. It had a neutral color lounge piece/settee of some kind. Can you please email me the name of the piece? My email address is hkisailus@gmail.com. Thanks!
Hi Heather. Thank you for checking us out. I don’t know the name of the sofa. My guess is it’s no longer available from West Elm. They switch out their featured furnishings every year, I think. I’m sorry. It’s a nice looking piece.
