KISS ME
I love the snapcracklepop of this white dress. Don’t you? The way it leaps right off of the gray charcoal board, you can spot it clear across a room. The lights and darks and her lean and sexy heat makes this one of my favs in the Gallery. That and the fact that rendering her lace bodice and hem was no joke. Those dress folds stood between me and my pillow many a night, too. But it was all a part of the challenge. As with anything we set out to do, whether it’s writing a book, finishing school or overcoming some tired old habit. It won’t be easy. There may be some late nights. You know this. But that doesn’t stop you.
Is it hot where you are? It’s HOT where she is. Can’t you tell? Men tend to like this piece, too. That’s why she’s called KISS ME.
A great pose! very beautiful and very hot 😉
Thank you Ivanka!
I’m loving her and that New Orleans feel, to me….you know that humid, skin moistening heat in the summer time…..great piece.
Hey Donna, pass the red beans and rice, please. With a gumbo chaser!
I know about those late nights. If only, I could look that hot the morning after. LOL! Great post, beautiful piece!
Thanks Diva!
Yes, definitely HOT! You should send it to Halle who, so clearly, was your inspiration here…and the folds in that dress… they are SLAMMIN’
This piece is wonderful, Edwina. Did you produce it digitally?
You caught me Renee! Halle was indeed the inspiration. The original piece was done in charcoal pencil and white conte crayon. circa 1989/90. (ps-your note card order should arrive tomorrow. hope you love them. I do!)
On second thought, combing through the memory banks, I think this piece actually pre-dates Halle.
Ah, I’m deeply inspired. I’m so familiar with such evenings/nights.
Ah, those memories.
Here’s hoping your memories are wonderful, Englishvers. Welcome.
beautiful…
Thank you, Ladies.
