Me + Jiggy Studio

October 25, 2022

Our partnership continues, me and JIGGY PUZZLES. After HEATWAVE was featured as their August Puzzle of the Month, they presented me with another fine opportunity.

Adding another layer to their cake, JIGGY has launched JIGGY STUDIO, a boutique marketplace showcasing the art of 30 diverse female artists from all over. And they offered your girl a seat at the table.

Here are THREE new 500-pc. puzzles by moi that are available for purchase on the JIGGY STUDIO site.

First, there’s ROSA. I named her after my mother, the jigsaw puzzle queen! The origins of this piece go way, way back and she’s made more than a few appearances throughout the years but this I believe is her finest hour.

And PUMP. The background is a photograph I took in Harlem, NY almost twenty years ago and the Jimmy Choo-inspired high heel I tweaked from our 2022 summer note card series. I love repurposing, putting old art and photographs together and creating NEW art. That’s my jam.

LAURIE began as a t-shirt illustration a few years ago. Just a head, I added a body and a great coat before dropping it to an image of my home town, Chicago, shot by sgcreative. Fall was always my favorite time of year in the Windy City. And yeah. I’ve got a thing for sunglasses.

I’ve just submitted new art for two more puzzles, hopefully in time for production before the holidays. And guess what? HEATWAVE is coming back too! If you missed her last August, you’ll have another chance to purchase her soon.

HEATWAVE

I’m very excited to be a part of JIGGY PUZZLES. Their effort to promote female artists from around the world and provide another outlet to showcase our work is a tremendous blessing. It’s an honor to be one of JIGGY STUDIO‘s inaugural 30.

Each puzzle from the STUDIO is packaged in super-lux sustainable packaging and includes specially formulated puzzle glue to keep and frame your masterpiece. So, if you’re starting to think about the holidays, come on over to JIGGY PUZZLES. I’m sure you’ll find something that will make the absolute perfect gift for that puzzler on your list.

Congratulations Edwina, This is great news! The puzzles are gorgeous. They make a great complement to the books you’ve designed. Looking forward to where this adventure takes you. Those wonderful stories you’ve written will be making their way to the global community.
